Mr. Ajri’s Residence
A 1000 sq.ft , 2bhk apartment in Kothrud. The project was for the renovation of the apartment.(official project in association with Acon Architects)
The design brief was Indo- western. The client had specific requirements in terms of furniture utility. They did not want too many Indian elements, but the use of colours and soft furnishings had to hint towards Indian style.
I designed an elaborate Tv unit with plenty of storage and veneer finish. The sofa set was outsourced, and custom made to my design. A fresh apple green colour was used in the dining area to complement the woodwork.
The daughters room had to have plenty of free space to move around and the colour blue was the theme. Simple white wardrobes with a patterned laminate were used. The flooring in the balcony extension (which was taken into the room) was finished with alternating colours of prelaminated wood.
